Turning Torso, Malmö, Sweden
One of Northern Europe's most spectacular buildings, the Turning Torso is based on a sculpture by the architect Santiago Calatrava. The concrete block sculpture is inspired by the human body in turning movement.
54 floors and a breathtaking height of 190 metres, this residential building has been developed in partnership with HSB Malmö.
Combisafe has supplied NCC Construction with all the edge protection on the Turning Torso. The Combisafe Steel Mesh Barrier System was installed, maintained, and inspected once a week by a team of Combisafe riggers.
